Are These Two Marble King Watermelons?

These two marbles belong to a friend of mine. He asked me to go through his marbles. I've never seen a watermelon except in pictures. I need 3 questions answered.
1. Are they watermelons?
2. Are they old or newer?
3. What is the value of each?

The one on the right has some damage from play.

There are two green ribbons at the equator. There is a patch at each end in red, with some other colors, green, oxblood and a little orange on top of the red glass.

Yes to Watermelon.

I'd think old with that style and the wear adds to that impression.

Value? ... sorry, don't know that.

I agree with Steph, they are older style MK's......and value in that condition I'm not certain of but minty ones usually fetch a pretty penny.

I also agree Edna, marble king is actually the company iv been researching on! they probably are an older version.

I believe those are the second type made. Not the very first. Like the spidermen with Ox. They are the second type.
