It measure 3/4" and it kind of looks like a Christensen, but I think it's a Jabo as I see 4 familiar dimples; although the size is exactly 3/4".

Regardless of what it maybe; its a sweet marble in my hands.

minister, it looks more like a christensen rubby red slag to me! but i may be wrong? anyone else?

I wouldn't necessarily think Jabo.

The modern version of the red slag which comes to mind is the Vacor Rooster.



Not saying for sure that's what it is. But if it's modern, that's a possibility.

I compared the Vacor with the Christensen at Joe's Marbles and I'm going with Christensen on this one, its what it was billed as, but I'm always skeptical until I examine it a while. It looked too minty to me and I have seen some of those Jabo's that sellers pass off as Christensen. Thanks for the help, more input welcome.

Akro made quire a few slags as well and dimples (bubbles surfacing when the glass was still hot) aren't uncommon on a lot of older marbles

When the white submerges on most older slags it usually appears to turn orange or yellowish, Not seeing that here which make me think newer. Need in hand for sure
