Yes? No?

I'm barely literate in MKs, I just bought this marble because I thought it was pretty.

Mainly because of the patch, it called to my mind the Berry Pink. Sort of, anyway. Now that I have it in hand, it's a little stranger than I thought. The base has a light blue-ish cast -- doesn't look white at all in normal light -- and backlit it is very heavily opalescent.

I don't know if it would be a Berry Pink variant or something, or not. Maybe something else altogether.

What do you think? (sorry for the small photos -- they're all I could get off of ebay)

I heard you say Pelt with a strange sense of relief. I'm not crazy I'm not crazy I'm not crazy.

I can't get the pics to save for me in a larger format, but It was ebay #301619370377. The pics there are much bigger . . .

I'd appreciate any ideas or opinions - - -

With the larger pics it does look like something I would call a Pelt.

It also looks like something that I argued long and loud for it being a Pelt and I was told no.

But really I don't see anything else but Pelt there.

OK, I'm feeling much better now.

I didn't quite have the nerve to say what I thought the "something else altogether" might be.

Probably because I'm not as familiar with MK as I should be, so I kept thinking "well, for all I know, it could be, I guess, even though it looks like a Pelt to me . . ."

Thanks for posting the link, Steph --

Ann, Berry Pinks are larger marbles - one inch. I have only seen 3 varieties. (1) opaque white base, (2) pale blue opaque base (I've only seen one and I've been looking for a long time and (3) a clear base. I will post larger photos of the 1 and 3 for you.

Thank you all!

I sifted through my Pelt box last night and discovered that the new Pelt (yay!) looked perfectly at home -- even relaxed -- next to my one and only copperhead.

How nice to learn stuff . . .
