But I can't find any id on the blue marble. I have blue corks, but they have a clear base. What is the blue one called, if anything? I've got some nice corkscrews from the basic solid color on white to some of the spirals and onyxes. I think these are my first Aces. They are so eminently collectible because only Akro made them and they are easy for me to identify. they are in a fountain pen display case with a slanted front and it works well - except that the 1" marbles won't fit. The one with the red arrow, does that have a cork of green also? Looks really cool. And I'm really digging that one on the top right with the arrow, is that a black AND gray cork? How great is it to be able to put those arrows in someone else's pics?! Yes, there is green in with the red and yellow but I didn't catch it in my new picture. And the other marble does have gray and black corks. I always think I'll have time to devote to mibs but it doesn't seem to happen and so I'm not too fussy about what goes on display. sissydear Posted June 20, 2015 Report Share Posted June 20, 2015 Some of those corks do have special names. if they light up with a blacklight, the red ones can be called cherry ades or tomato ades, the yellow ones lemonades, and the green ones limeades. if they don't light up, they are just corkscrews. I almost left out the orange ones are orange ades. Sometimes the patches light up with a black light and they have the ade name too. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
