American Machine-Made Marbles covers a lot of history and has a fair amount of photos.

Popular American Marbles by the same authors has a lot of photographs -- was disappointing to some because of how the publisher did the photos  -- yet has still received a good word recently.

And Everett Grist's Big Book of Marbles, the recent edition co-authored by Lloyd Huffer, has some nice sections of marble photos identified by company.

^^ that's my off-the-cuff summary of this Mike's thread from a little while ago:
http://marbleconnection.com/topic/23014-a-good-marble-book

The list of names has been growing rapidly recently so they haven't all made their ways into books.
