I'd say it was made in a Tri-Onyx Agate run ... so it should be called a Popeye.  That's a good example for the discussion of paradoxes created by collector names.

That's my best guess. Also I wonder if they were sold in Imperial boxes.

Outstanding!  That's the run of Snakes/Onyx we've been waiting for. Some really fine examples certainly, and excellent shots too.  I have the sibling of that orange one you remarked about on page 7. The darker orange tan areas on my specimen are AV.  I have to get shots of mine and post too.  Only found type once. John

I thought this one was unusual enough to add here, I love the color combination, would love to find more.

The blue base is almost translucent. Light doesn't really pass through it but I can see where the edges of the orange sink into it.
