I LOVE MARBLES Posted April 16, 2009 Report Share Posted April 16, 2009 Hi JVV, the marble is a surface banded Josephs Coat. These marbles are very uncommon, have only seen them offered for sale in one of those R.R. catalogs, in the #30's somewhere Sami. I bought one of the 13/16" size, think it was over the $600. range. Sweet Surface Banded Multi-layered Joseph marble JVV, it's the only one I've seen, surface banded and multi-layered! Here's a 9/16" sub Indian from one of B.
