Maybe we could all remember this is a marble page.We are a dysfunctional lot,young old happy cranky crazy marble maniacs trying to learn something from eachother.I can't be a defeatist and say nothing can be done.People need to stop calling people out to begin with.This isn't a school yard!I am told that as a man over 50 years old I need to be ecspeacially careful not to be crancky.So all this is said objectivley with out anger or malice.If this page was a force and not a mess we could make a difference.Do we wan't to make a difference?Is it to hard?We would have to treat each other as freinds and stop holding grudges?People like to hold on to there grudges,like old freinds. I often state my opinion could be flawed, it well could be(probably not).

That is why I engage, I like to be right(surprised?)and without a test how can it be right.

I expected some contention, if you entered this thread so did you!

I have tried to moderate my responses to the contention - I asked for it!

and long ago I posted my response to the Value question I posed, i might have shared some info and insight with a few.

It was my intent.

I am guilty of ulterior motives though.

If you have a problem with someone [(not contentious troublesome topics like this, here it should be expected maybe not if we progress) where we are now, yep this topic trouble but for "getting it straight"] take it to the Board of Inquiry.

Steve I reviewed marbos complaint post, but I read it as a complaint not a bash. Proper place? Marbos decision.

Complaints come with retailing and all Sellers need to accept that, comes with the territory.

I'd hand pick a few of the heavy Hitter investors that I trusted and could bring Value to the table and form a company and make marbles for collectors

I'd sell stock to afor mentioned collectors(dibs)

It would be for collectors so smaller

My two cents on Jabo Quality Control...

The special runs are contract runs.

Investors pay to have Jabo produce the marbles.

Investors pay for the materials glass ect.

They get the marbles.

The Great ones & Not perfect.

The investors can do with them as they please.

Keep them, Sell them, Give them away, bury them ect...

With marble production from any company past or present culls are produced.

Jabo cannot weed them out because they are not their marbles.

"Oh good smaller furnace" Did I mention I have this kiln,works perfectly.It's here at my steel fabrication business in Reno Nev.I specialize in rolling,transitions,proto-type and conical work.I guess I would need a glory hole cut in it? Is that the correct terminology? Often wondered if this could be used in marble makin.Maybe someone has some ideas? Mad scientist looking for Glass Artist...will work for marbles LOL David hope I'm not jacking your thread but who hasn't thought about it at one time or another?

Yes,within 1/32".NO,Yes,it don't leave the shop if it's not quality.Diagnostically speaking what would be the cause for the high percentage of culls.I'm guessing worn rollers?What would be an acceptable reject ratio,5% or less?
