Don't get me wrong, I am not making a call on yours one way or the other as I know everyday I see marbles I had no clue existed. Only that by the current available photos I could see thinking saying Pelt. I love those kind of limited informative pics....but only when buying on the bay. lol My judgement on these three is currently based as if I were about to bid on a lot I had only these pics to go by and either way I would come out ahead even if my guess changed when finally in hand.

I would love to see more pics and maybe get edjumacated. lol-016.gif

Yes, the diaper folds are a single seam marble and Peltier can sometimes have two seams that are so close together that they might resemble a single seam to the untrained eye. Glad to hear that you can make out two seams on your mib. You are well on your way to learning Peltier construction. Hope this helps.

Ok, sorry everyone but I have yet another question about the vacor mibs. What type of base glass did they use for the mibs that look like mine in my very second post. Did they use more than one base glass for these types? Thanks! :)

Steve, I think the black might be a spray on the surface. Not sure how it would be applied.

I can't specifically remember what all colors have been seen inside. Been awhile. However, I definitely remember dark transparent colors. What comes to mind is dark amber and dark red. And I do for sure remember cateye-like structures being found inside.

My best guess is that they took dark based marbles, at least sometimes transparent, applied black to them in a manner similar to how iridescence is applied, and then applied the splatter layer over the black layer.

I'm sorry. I misunderstood. You are correct. It is a spray of some sort that makes the mib look black. Mine are in storage so I can't back light them, but I have seen many colors under Vacor balck marbles...carmel, red, green, purple, etc.
