Vitro? Does it fall into a category?

5/8" I think it's a vitro but not sure. If so what category does it fall into, does it have a name?

Gotta be Vitro.

But I'm having trouble thinking of which decade or style name it would be.  

 

At first I thought later -- like 70's.  Then you turn it around and show me the insides on that purple end, and that makes it seem older.  

 

Somewhere between Conqueror and Tiger Eye time?  40's or 50's?

It's definitely older than 70's the guy it came from said he never bought any after very early 60's is how he put it.

I'm not sure if it's one we have a name for.  That late 40's and early 50's period doesn't seem to have been one for catchy names on the Vitro packaging.

Vitro type one Tiger Eye. The most common Tiger Eye. Weak on the purple and fractured bad, chipped and moons.

You are welcome.  It will all come together in time.  It is a big puzzle and takes lots of time and effort. We all want to try and make a marble something it is not. We all want our marbles to be worth the work and effort.  We all want that $1.00 marble to be worth $100.00. It happens but way more often not than when it finally does.
