I have watched the doctor since the early 70's. Grew up near Canada and could pick up their stations added 2 more channels to the 3 we got in the Detroit area. 5 channels was more than the 3 you could pick up in the U.S. at that time.

My husband watched it in the 80's.  Maybe the 70's.  On PBS.  He liked Tom Baker.  He was my boyfriend then, so I was aware of the series, but didn't really understand what it was about.

Then I dove in with the 2005 revival and have been hooked ever since.

I grew up with Dr Who (Tom Baker was 'my Doctor'), and was glad to see the relaunched series, but found it got too silly over the past few seasons. I tried the new series with low expectations, but was really impressed. It felt much more like the Doctor Who of my childhood than any of the recent seasons.

I got to see a little of Torchwood.  We watch in DVD and haven't added Torchwood to the collection yet.  Captain Jack sure is a cutie. ;)

I liked that first episode of Jodie Whittaker's run.  She seemed very Doctor-y.  Look forward to seeing more.
