Ric, i am very very curious to hear more information about the (actual) documentation and provenience about (OXBLOOD) contained in their production marbles. Chuck G---

So am I, Chuck, because I certainly don't have the information. Honestly, I am not even sure if this would be considered "real" oxblood, which is why I generally refer to it as "poxblood" (pelt oxblood, I think the first time I heard the term was from Al). Regardless, if it's not "real" oxblood, it sure can look close to it.

What do you know about Pelt and oxblood?

This one seems to have the dark red stuff too.

The first mib I posted on this thread the Peltier "Mustard Tree" as I named it just sold last week for the for mentioned price, a great marble I agree, not just because I'm a pelt head but a genuinely beautiful marble for sure. Wish I could have afforded it. Any Peltier over 3/4ths" and in mint shape like this is VVHTF.

Yes a Pelt rainbo, I love em, can't get enough. They're coming up in value (fast), collectors are holding fast to what they have for the most part. Rainbo's are beautiful marbles anyway. I started collecting them long ago. Nice one Tommy !!

Ric, could you help me decern what traits are found in a Pelt banana 🍌?

Sizes up to about an inch. The base glass is usually about as good as it gets - crystal clear and bright, and the standard colors are vivid. They are usually vane-less but that can vary a bit, and the vanes come in shapes from thin bananas to fat more globular ones (my favs).

Here's a few big ones:
