Ric 0
They do look more Akro in the newer pics - like some kind of eggyolk maybe?
Alan 0
Looks like newer glass. Maybe back the lens up so it comes into focus.
Chad G. 0
x 3 newer Glass, I 'm sticking with "Vacor" probably a messed up Orca !!
Tommy 0
Thank you all . I was doing some research .do you all think it could be peltier nova run..
Chad G. 0
"not a nova" I have several and they all have the classic pelt defined, cutlines on each side of the mib and at each end of the two ribbons. This is one of mine, at 15/16ths, every one locks like this or very close to it in construction, though the colors do vary greatly, all have the classic pelt design, no swirling, these were a later pelt marble, a one day run, sometime in 1988 along with the so called root beer floats, they say all larger marbles but I have seen these down to 11/16ths. Tommy 0
Awesome ill try to get better pics of them together .thanks again everyone
Alan 0
As Chad noted - a Nova looks quite different.
Tommy 0
Tried for a good outside pic . Think I need a camera. Thanks again
Chad G. 0
They Definitely look newer, I am unfamiliar with them so maybe wait for another to chime in. Definitely "not Akro" and "not Peltier" The little bit of purple tinge I see in both still reminds me of Vacor glass. There is no discernable structure to these mibs, so I am unable to make an I.D. Thanks again A cheap point and shoot with "macro" should do you nicely !! And a neutral background, one without reflection or light refraction will stop the excess glare and reflections on the glass. Your first few backgrounds were perfect.
wvrons 0
That yellow is odd. I think the little bit of purple is the dark blue showing through the white. I also am sticking with Vacor. Could be an older Vacor ?
Chad G. 0
A picture of some vacor orca marbles. Look at the one in the lower right hand corner,& a few of the others with the red tinge, slightly familiar,
Tommy 0
I found this on another site. This is why I thought Nova run it looks closer than an orcha. But I'm new ,lol Re: Root Beer Floats, Novas, and Pink Champagnes by David Chamberlain » Wed Jan 10, 2018 3:17 pm
wvrons 0
I think you found it. David is a friend of mine. I knew he did that thread. I did think about looking at it and should have. But was just to busy. Nice job finding the answer.
Chad G. 0
"Good job Tommy "on finding that post. Like the mibs you have there are abstract examples of everything, "excellent job hunting this one down"
