First pic, all tomatoes....second pic, little squash mound.....third pic, the watermelon mound....fourth pic, tons of peppers both sweet and hot....fifth pic, taking a stab at brussel sprouts....sixth pic, pumpkin mound....this is the before. We'll visit in a few weeks and see how things are coming along 😊

I was checking my computer on a break, saw your post andΒ  had to run out to get this picture before the shadows got too long.Β  ^_^Β Β

I had quite firmly told myself I was not going to have a garden this year, but I had 20 minutes to kill on Monday and spent them in a garden center and got home with 8 tomato plants.Β Β

Planted those in two different plots.Β  Added green beans, peas, cilantro, dill, marigolds, dwarf sunflowers and butterfly friendly flower mix in various spots around the yard. Now I'm I'm thinking about what to put in the containers.Β  Β

Replaced the smallest container in that photo with a still-small-but-a-little-larger one, which now contains seeds for skinny onions.Β  Planted cucumbers in the big one.Β  Carrots and radishes in the other two.Β Β

Starting to think about the idea of getting pregrown flowers, but it's still a new idea for me.Β  Right now I'm trying to figure out where to put more dwarf sunflower seeds, since the packet we bought online contained a thousand and so far I've only planted less than ten.Β

I periodically play scratch games and got a crossword with 2 words in the same puzzle befitting a marble collector 😁

Actually, let's have some fun and see how many marble related words there are on this ticket...I have no idea, this just occurred to me 😁

I burnt my last stump out, it took some doing and it never did get all of it, a big soft maple.
Β I planted a few railroad ties around it and planted a small native tree on top of itβ€”American Hornbeam. It is now my favorite tree and it is doing quite well. Native Butterfly weed surrounds it, it loves it there too.
Native trees rock.
Marbleβ€”On!!

This is kind of an out of the way back corner that isn't seen from the front at all. So leaving the stump really isn't an issue. My idea is to fill in the dip(or hole if you will), then create a flowerbed joined with the stump.Β

Didn't know where to put these photos initially, but I decided to go treasure hunting yesterday and came across this cool chair. Actually thought about getting it until I looked at the price tag!Β

Someone or something is going to have to prove to me that it's worth that price. I like it alot but not THAT much!Β
