I think so, I have been corresponding with Bruce at the Akro website, just sent him pics this morning. Should be hearing more about it today. Wasn't sure if the painting/illustration actually was original or not? Was super lucky because I almost missed it with a bunch of other random pots and planters. All right, from what I learned from his reply, the 300F pot is fairly common, but with the black being the rarer of colors and more desirable. Also, there apparently isn't any certainty as too whether the painting is factory or not, but this was referred to as "uncommon". The last "black" pot they had sold for $50, but with the mystery surrounding the painting, a value wasn't placed on this one. But that's ok. Not in it for the monetary amount anyway. I remember the first one I ever saw, in Chad's collection. Fate would have it that not too many months later, I would stumble upon one of pretty much the same color combinations (the red one). Didn't pass it up! And at only 17 bucks. I found the chocolate pitcher a couple months later I think, for a little over 20 bucks.
