Nantucketdink Posted May 13, 2023 Report Share Posted May 13, 2023 I wasn’t collecting marbles before any Akro digs took place, but I have read in a variety of different places that Popeye patches were quite rare in circulation prior to the digs. I bought a group of like 50 blue/yellow dug lot of Popeye patches for cheap that tells me something changed drastically after the digs. Alan’s words describe the situation perfectly.
