What Color Would You Say This Mica Is?

Recommended Posts

I got this in the mail today. Measures at 7/8. The discription said Cherry Amber glass with filament red core. I don't see any red core or cherry amber glass. I see yellow! It is a little lighter in hand. I am not disappointed just want to know if this would be considered yellow?

I think it is very hard to tell exactly where the boundary is between a very light honey-amber, and a true yellow. It is particularly hard to tell from photographs. Here are a 15/16" light honey amber (1st pic), and a 13/16 yellow (2nd pic). ... Roger

Actually, *palomino* is a great name to describe your color....it's for all of the yellow colored horses that have a range from light yellow to a darker colored, smokey yellow.
