And this one is still questionable. Described as a CAC Citron Swirl. AAM seems to be leaning towards CAC and then Winnie over on LOM shows me a picture of a Veiligglas swirl that looks like it. Shrug. Still a pretty little marble and I'm leaving it in my CAC box for now.

***EDIT: the consensus seems to be that this mib is Alley, not CAC. (See discussion here: http://marbleconnection.com/topic/23338-cac-vs-alley-2-mibs-help-me-understand/ ) Leaving post as it originally appeared for learning purposes***

After starting my collection with mostly Alleys and a handful of unidentified marbles, I got my first CAC in the mail yesterday. 😄

19/32"~ with flash (really makes the colors pop)

~without flash (makes it a bit blurry, but colors are calmer/more accurate)

Excited to have my first CAC! 😊

...I also have a beautiful purpley single seam slag and an American Agate on the way!

***EDIT: brought both of these mibs to the Canton show Feb 2018, and both of these were also confirmed NOT CAC...

Purple slag was speculated to be a hand-gathered Pelt, and the 9-and-tail to be of the 'Canadian transitional' type.

Both were sold as CAC. :(***

I did see that there was already a purple slag pic posted... the more the merrier???  I can't stop staring at this... I swear this is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

Still just as mesmerizing when it's backlit:

Oh, and the American Agate too~
