Guest FeelingMarbleous Posted October 2, 2008 Report Share Posted October 2, 2008 Hmm never seen one like that, and i collect stone and stuff, like Crystals, and different healing stones and what not... but i must say i have never seen any those colors, only in Geodes but still they are usually only one or two colors.... if i didn't know any better i would say it was dyed... Pyrite i do not see in that stone.. but again maybe if it where polished it may show the true name of the mineral stone ! or even clearer pics would help, but i think Quartz grew around lapis form the same deposits, so.... could those shiny things be little chunks of quartz ? I did a Google Image search on Lapis and I'm sold. I added a picture of an egg that seems to be a cousin (but a tad heavier on the pyrite).
