Your welcome. I take flowers, birds, animals, just about everything.( my worse so far has been marbles with a borrowed digital ) My ae-1 canon is about 25 years old. It has a zoom, and macro lens, of course none will work on the new cameras of today. :Happy_143: :Happy_143: Someday over the rainbow...................

I have been looking at my german swirls, I think that they are, that do not have a lot of surface damage, but there is so many bubbles inside, with little dots of color inside on the lines, and what looks like long digs but they are on the inside as far as I can tell. Were thest made poorly? I know the ponstils on each end are present, but it seems like they are crude. Any ideas. Thanks Barb

Gary,
That is a wonderful thing to do. The way prices are falling everywhere as well as jobs, I think they would benefit from direct donations. JMO I am also in Michigan, Traverse City area. Where are you located? If it does not stop snowing I am going to have to shovel the roofs. UGH. We have not had a winter like this since the 70's. ( So they say, LOL) May we all stay warm with food in our bellys, and our house not in foreclosure. Barb

Wow, I would love to see where these come from. NOT.... the spelling etc. makes me think of deeeeeeep south where roads do not go, humans do not go and there are a lot of moonshine stills.
It would be interesting to see who falls for that one.

Mibsters:
Long time lurker venturing out into post-land.........now that I have a decent camera (which I'm slowly getting the hang of). I was fortunate to purchase most of the marbles pic'd below in an auction lot with a bunch of CAC opaque swirls and Bloodies. Based on their color, as-mades and bubbles, I had suspected that these might be CAC transparent swirls. After communicating with a few long time knowledgeable CAC gurus, I have come to learn that these are likely CAC trans swirls, that the "old timers" used to refer to as "Snooties". I will upload some additional pics in a following post as I've kept the resolution pretty high and will run out of space. I also have deep purple, light yellow and light green examples that I've yet to photograph. I believe that the red trans swirls are what some have referred to as "Red Jennys". Regardless of what they are called or who may have manufactured them, they are gorgeous mibs. Hope you have fun viewing them.
If I keep looking at these fantastic marbles I am going to get hooked, and not sell any of them. These are breathtaking. It makes me wonder about my big white, ? cat eye?? Nice job with the pictures.
