Found two little Akro thumb pots with their original flowers. Not marble related, but Akro related. Thought they might be interesting to show. These are getting hard to find. I am going to try to sell them and make some marble money while I am here.

I thought this would stir a little conversation. I know that more than Peltier made them, but right now I don't have a clue how to tell. Been reading A LOT and getting my butt out there and hitting the street looking at marbles for sale. It's been fun hitting some old haunts and asking questions. Seems to be not a lot of collectors here, so the choices are good. I will post some photos of what I got today. Not much but I see them as tool for learning right now.

Note this is a Trade catalog which I assume to be wholesale at the time. That might explain the pricing structure as well. This is my first find in "print related" marble stuff.

Hope all is well. I was up with Noah tonight so MOM could sleep for a change. Sis was looking a little sleep deprived yesterday, so I took the late shift! New borns are so fun.

I don't think so steph. I just happened to think that is what it looked like. I was out and about all day. Janice is TIRED. I should know better than to wear heels and huff around all day..... But then again a girl needs to look her best. Little Noah is such a cutie..... I am trying to figure out how I can take him home with me and not have his parents miss him. Looking forward to getting home. Fish and company stink after three days...and since I am the company..... OH NO>

I got this today as well. Thought it was cute. I think my little brother had one like this in the early 70's. Not much to look at I know, but still a bit of the past.

This is a cutie, but has bad pontil marks. One side it really flat.

This one has a bit of white swirl in it. Thought it was a nice handmade. Reminds you of a little ghost hiding out inside. This is my year to find marbles with Mica. To weird how that works sometimes

Thanks, I think he is pretty cute too! I am not sure I will be able to smuggle him out when I leave in a few weeks. They might just miss him. New Borns are so wonderful. I love the little tiny yawns. They always make me cry.
