I've never been to Jamestown long ride no direct route. I go to NYC often ,my son lives on Staten Island, of course the most direct route there fron CNY is NY-PA-NJ-NY. Sounds funky but direct and fast. I have no idea what this reply has to do with marbles.. LOL Mark

I live outside Syracuse, No shows,clubs, nor have i met anyone that collects marbles. Lonely hobby around here. LOL

Hello, Wow, That advertisement shows a ball that looks alot like this one from my Grandfathers house ( same place my marbles came from). I can't
really tell what it was made from but it's hard (now), hollow, And it has something in it to make it rattle. My Aunt told me that the indentation
on the side came from showing it to me when I was a kid.. LOL Oh it's approx. 3&1/2 inches diameter.

Mine corks therefore Akro. I picked it and a couple others up at an antique show in Phoenix a couple weeks ago. If I had more money with me I would have bought more. ( goog thing ) LOL Very Eye catching !

My daughter and Son in law visited Mike Barton @ his studio. These are the mibs she sent me for my Birthday.
She had a great time visiting Mike and seeing all his Artwork and various collections.
