Actually the mica makes it look superb, but it has several nicks and small chips in the surface.

I used to be an avid collector of Akro Agate, marbles and glass!

Ive sold all my machine made marbles pretty much and everything but these ashtrays. For some reason I just like these things! And of coarse I applied the same criteria to my glassware as I do my handmade marbles, they gotta be the rarest colors!!! Lol

It's a double sided face. If I'm not mistaken these small cat face sulphides were part of a game set called cat and mouse.?.?.

1-3/4 purple banded lutz and 15/16 caged triple twist ribbon core.

The only ones I own (like I own more than two) just have a thin swirl of ox, one in a transparent colorless base, the other in a dark green base,  No competition at all.

So all I can contribute is one Alan sold (and I didn't win) some time ago; I wonder where it is now . . .  sigh . . .

 

The big one I got was just by luck, and I'll probably never get another that big!
