  1. Thank you Steph! I am hoping these go for < $40 today and will be mine. I do not have any Peltier in my collection yet, so these are a must so long as there is not a bidding war. I appreciate you!
  2. I have a chance to buy 3 jars of marbles at a local auction house and am wondering if I am seeing popeyes or am I misidentifying them. The pics are not the greatest as I have not seen them in person (tomorrow morning I will be there live) yet but wanted to see if anyone could help out. I see popeyes in all 3 jars, possibly. Any help identifying these marbles would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Jar 1 Jar 2 Jar 3
  3. Thanks for the all responses. I passed on those but I do intend to purchase these, even if they are Vacors. They are so pretty! Can anyone help me identify these? The 2 I like most are the 2 in the front, right side that have the blue, yellow and red, I love those for some reason. The small multicolor in the back left is really neat too. As usual, thanks in advance! I swear I am reading Marble Alan's site but am not there yet. another shot: and 1 last one:
  4. Thanks for the reply. It is an online auction so I have no idea what is in the bag. I've contacted the company asking for more info and if I receive any I will post it here. I've found that a high percentage of auctions have a mix of new and old marbs, yet they all say they are "vintage" or "antique" marbles which really misleads newbs like myself. Thank goodness for sites like this!
  5. Passed on this junk, new post below
  6. Thanks!! Kinda what I thought but wasn't confident enough in my knowlege. I will pass on these.
  7. Hello, I just recently started collecting and am addicted to searching the net for new deals. I found a lot of marbles for sale online but cannot identify them. I love the swirls! The seller claims they are from the 30s but of course, I want to be certain before spending my dough. Thanks to google, I found this site and will be spending the next month reading posts to gather info. If anyone could help me identify the marbles in the picture I would greatly appreciate it as time is running out for me to buy or not. Thanks in advance!
