  1. Apologies for my terminology. Full marble below.
  2. Thanks for looking. Am I correct in classifying this as start of the cane, there appears to be no pontil and each of the swirls start at different points inside the "pole". Also pic of pontil end.
  3. Thanks for the responses - they are dead black and the colour bands appear to be on the surface, I do have some peewees that are very dark blue with the bands under the surface (transluscents ?) and these are quite different.
  4. Hi, am I correct in classifying these as Indians ? they are all less than 1/2 inch, thanks
  5. Ok how about a three coloured West Virginian Swirl (not Ravenswood as there appears to be no tunneling). Now I know why I collect coins
  6. Apologies if I appear very ignorant - Oxblood ?
  7. Thanks Steph - I think a good call on the Japanese transitionals as now you have pointed it out they have creased pontils as for the others white based swirl two toned yellow ?
  8. Hello everyone and thanks for looking. I actually collect coins and can usually be found over on coincommunity but grateful thanks to the internet (and the owners / mods) that sites like this exist to help. I have an old collection of marbles - I seem ok with the antique glass handmade types but I am struggling with the others. I think the last 2 pictures (same blue marbles) are M F Christensen Slags (confirmation would be good) and require guidance on the amber 4. There are others but I think I will start here and see where I go.
