  1. Thank you. That "rebel" one is pretty nifty. I'll have to gauge how serious he is about his collecting. Otherwise I suppose I'll put them on eBay. My eye is not very fine, I just know which ones I like
  2. OK. So here are 5 images, I separated them into numbered rows, and batches. I pulled out damaged ones, though I just noticed one in the 5th image at the bottom. Thank you for any assistance in identifying these. My kiddo is interested in making a collection or building on my grandfathers collection, but I'll likely sell any that are truly special. I love the green on in the 2nd image in row 4, 3rd from the left.
  3. Thank you Steph! I do see how there are some of those. There are also some that are rather small, almost 1/2 size of a standard marble. I also notice several have a little open dot on the end. And some with a little twist of glass at the end, maybe where they were made? Thanks so much for the image and information you provided!
  4. Hello, I found this bag of marbles at an estate sale? Are they just common? I'm not a marble expert, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Serine
  5. Thank you Steph! I genuinely appreciate that! I was thinking the two clear on the bottom of the image were pretty neat. But I'll pull out the red too. I have others I should dig out, plus a jar of my grandfathers marbles I keep in my window. Come to think of it, I hope that the sun isn't bad for them, they are so beautiful! 23 is a lucky number!
  6. I am new to the community, hello. I sell a lot of vintage and antique items, and from time to time I find old marbles. In fact I have jars in boxes in my garage, and I never know how to identify them, or if they are even old. I recently found this jar, plus some clay ones I set aside. Does anyone know if these are old? Special? Or simply just a fun collection. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you. - Serine
