Okay, I think *maybe* these are Peltier Bananas? The glass is bright and clear and the veins are fat and plump.
I have 10 of each colourway.
They measure between 10/16 & 11/16 (don’t mind my homemade caliper 😅)
-I included of a comparison shot with some garbles to emphasize the clarity on the possible bananas.Am I on the right track?
thanks!

Don’t expect it to come quickly or easily, you’re seeing hundreds (thousands? probably!) of years of cumulative knowledge on these forums!!
Thank you so much!
I was just expressing as much to my partner as I bagged them up. I grabbed one and excitedly exclaimed “look! It’s a tapeworm ribbon!”
I have heard the description many times in videos and seen the examples but until holding one next to a normal ribboned slag it was really apparent.
In my idealistic dream world there would be entire videos dedicated to one specific marbles and nothing but close ups of all the different angles and lighting possibilities, and discussion of its unique properties.
Perhaps if I continue to research 30 years from now I will almost know enough to film my own.
the collective knowledge on here is truly awe inspiring and fantastic. I am immensely grateful whenever someone takes the time to reply and share a piece of what they know.
This forum is by and large my favourite place to ask questions and read posts.
Have a great day, thanks again for your advice and MARBLE ON! 🤩

I am trying to sort out my marbles into smaller groups for eventual identification purposes.
After sitting down to get to it I am feeling overwhelmed by the variations in my swirl collection. The colour and swirl pattern variations leave me with too many options! How do you sort your unidentified marbles? Any sub categories, sorting tips, storage hacks, classification info.
im just looking to break it into manageable groups that ideally make sense together for ease of identification, but every time I start I end up second guessing all my groupings!
thanks in advance 🤗

Lets call these Champion and see what happens.
More opinions are needed and respected as always.
Marble--On!!
Much appreciated. I am still learning the ins and outs of the forum publishing/editing tools.
I appreciate the preliminary ID. I’m hoping to post more this evening. I have a *few* to work on identifying. 😂😅
thanks so much!

These are cool. I have have to ask. How can you tell if a marble is are upside down ? I hope you see the humor in this.
I just meant in relation to the other photos. The last photo has the marbles inversed so the one that was previously pictured on the bottom was now pictured on the top. Marbles themselves have no right or wrong orientation unless it is a sulfite or comic.

Hey all!
I found a handful of marbles with hunting garage sales this weekend.
Any thoughts on what these 4 could be?
they are all about 15.08 mm except the yellow and green which is about 15.87mm.
thanks!
