I'm really not much of a collector, but was gifted this by an older gentleman and was told it was only 1 of 2 that were made and had value. He wrote Purple Parrot on a slip of paper that came with it. Any ideas? I live in north central WV, but have no idea of its origin.

I never thought to include the measurement, but it measures close to 7/8"
