  1. Just curious if these are made by any marble manufacturers or if anyone has any helpful information on them. Are they desirable to a collector such as yourselves?
  2. It appears that 3 of them are certainly from the same run.
  3. Just as the title says, i count 6 different colors in this large 1 inch marble. Red, orange, Pink, purple, brown, and white. I know she’s pretty beat up but still an interesting marble to me. Thanks for any and all help
  4. Could use an idea if you have one it’s quite large at more than 1.5”
  5. Starting from the top the 4th one to the right looks like my marble. And you say “rarely” which means that they do right? And “usually” also means that they do though? Right? I’ll do some more research, and it’s very possible that I just don’t want it to be a reproduction. But it’s also possible that other don’t want it to be genuine as well. I’ve read that CAC’s are known to come in 1 and 2 seams, as well as no seam at all. The colors look right according to the picture you provided and the marvel I pointed out.
  6. It measures .74” and can you please point me in the direction where I can find some information about this as to why your saying what it is and is not.
  7. It’s got a translucent green base and it’s very hard to detect a seam on this one, if it has one it’s not obvious to me.
  8. Did you mean second to last picture or second to last marble? Because the very last two pictures are of the same marble and the second to last marble is the third picture up from the bottom.
  9. Roger that, thanks Chad. The opaques are definitely not the same series as the translucent ones I’m assuming.
  10. Sorry for all the pictures, I really love these types of marbles. Whether they are opaque or translucent I appreciate both varieties of the seam to seam striations.
  11. I don’t know how other people feel but man I seem to really like jabo. The colors, the quality of the glass it all seems to be there for me.
  12. You want to talk about difficult to photograph marbles I think I found the hardest one yet. This marble has so many bands of flowing colors. Real beautiful in normal light but the magic happens under a black light. Alternating colors of vivid uv reactive blues, purples, greens reds pinks yellow it has everything. And just another one that has me stumped sorry for all the photos, there’s qualities in the marble I was trying to capture and seem to have in pieces in each picture
  13. I hope you all understand how badass you are. And I really appreciate your willingness to take the time and provide such a thorough and detailed explanation chalk full of hard fought experience and Knowledge. Really appreciate it. Sorry that I can’t provide the same time of value in return. As of right now I’m just a grasshopper
  14. This marble has me mesmerized it’s absolutely gorgeous. I thought it was Oxblood until I backlit it and well you tell me what you think. Also what the heck is that round object entrapped within. Appears to be same color and size of a peppercorn. This marble was particularly difficult to photograph and get the appropriate color to come through in the picture. The marble is much deeper red than in the picture and the one where it is backlit and looks pink, in person it’s not pink at all it’s a deep red
