  1. Okay, next marble from my haul...this one is 5/8, there is a yellow and amber ribbon with whisps of white (4th pic) and I see a pretty clear "V" (3rd and 6th pics) coming down where the brown blends into the clear base & white whisps. Overall, this is leading me to say that the is a Master Sunburst. What do you more experienced folks think?
  2. Cool! Thank you both (I will work on getting my images sizes to be more reasonable too 🤦‍♂️)
  3. Hi all - new to the hobby and I just made my first purchase today after having spent the last little while lurking & reading and trying to get a baseline familiarity with what is what. I have ended up with about 10-20 marbles that might be identifiable and this is the first handful that I wanted to give a go at. It would be great to have everyone's feedback here as I actually have no idea what I am talking about with any of this 😅 The marble in the first pics is 11/16 with a fairly flat finish. I was originally thinking that this was a 1980s CAC, however, as it lacks an "oily" finish, I am now undecided between a Peltier Slag and a Christensen Agate Striped Transparent? The second marble is 9/16 with a shinier finish. While it appears to be an opaque base, you can see from the backlit seam pic (note the seam is huge on this marble) that it seems like it is actually a transparent base. This led me to think Vitro Agate, but maybe it is just an unidentifiable nothing? The next two (red is 1/8, green is 5/8) I feel are pretty clearly Arko Royals (or less likely I think Moss Agates). Thanks for taking a look!
