Wow! Don’t know anything about Jinx. I’ll read about them. Thank you!

Amazing info! Thank you!

I agree! I love this one also! Thank you for the info!

Not mine yet. Just thinking of buying this one.

In my experience, most of the marbles on eBay labeled MFC or CAC are not correctly labeled, so I try not to take anyone’s word for it.

This is in someone else’s collection, to be transparent. I thought the photos were great so I figured I’d share. Alley, CAC, or something else? Size is .65
-
Yes I meant to write MFC, sorry
-
That’s great info! Thank you for sharing!

Wow, if that’s true that would make it my first Jabo that I know of. I don’t know much about them so I’ll have to learn. I certainly won’t complain about that! I appreciate vintage but I’ll make space for this beauty that’s for sure! Thank you!

I see what you mean about the white. It does make it pop. Very cool. It blows my mind that CAC was able to create the colors that they did. And now we all get to enjoy them. Thank you! Appreciate your knowledge and time!

Just got this marble. Wondering what on earth it is. Doesn’t really scream CAC to me, at least not the types I’m familiar with, so my best guess was Alley. It’s .65 I love it either way. The combination of greens and black is stunning in my opinion.

I posted this marble once before because it was offered to me and I was curious. Now that I have it, the color is slightly brighter than previously shown, although very very close. You almost can’t see the difference in photos, I’m now noticing. The consensus before was that this was a CAC striped Opaque. The size is .65 I’m just wondering if the consensus with the new photos has changed anyone’s opinion. The photo with the white bg is from the original post, and the brown bg photos are new. Just trying to guage this orange and whether it’s CAC color, because it really really pops.

WOW that’s fascinating. And it seems like a small thing at a glance, but immediately it was making me question a lot, because I was wondering if possibly things were being misclassified according to characteristics that might have actually been shared by more than one maker or less rigid than believed. My instinct says those aren’t CAC’s, but the image was making me second guess everything. So this makes perfect sense, so thank you!

This looks just like my Alleys, for sure

Oh okay perfect! Yes that makes a lot of sense. I see the gap. Okay thank you!

Some of these are really tough. I will say, I never thought I’d be so excited about marbles but man oh man, they are timeless and incredible. I love trying to figure them out. Thanks for the info 🙏

So would you think this one is German? Because of the transparent between the seams?

I have two marbles in my collection that I concluded were Pennsboro Alley’s, but I noticed two marbles in one of my Marble books that look like them which I would have assumed were not CAC’s and I was wondering if anyone else had an opinion. Both are 5/8

This is amazing! Thank you!
