I have inherited a large number of marbles.  I am looking to hire someone to look at the collection and help me figure out what I have.  My ultimate goal is to liquidate the collection.  Most of the marbles were purchased in the 80's & 90's.  Anyone in NorCal that can help?

Do these different patterns signify?

I have inherited thousands of marbles, separated, and labeled, in hundreds of individual jars. What are the types I should I be looking for?  I don't know where to start so I can sell the marbles to people who can appreciate them.  Any ideas would be appreciated.
