jeroen
Hello, I recently bought this very small lobed onionskin. The size is 11/16 inch. The lobes are not symmetrical. One is much deeper than the others. As often the lobes were hard to catch on camera, but under water they show much better. I know of one collector who has small lobed onionskins in his collection, but I have never seen a photo of a very small lobed onionskin. I would love to see photos of other examples. aleecee
I think this type is called a "shrunken core", where the lobes do not come up to the surface.
