Do you know who R.R. Brown and C.R. Gibson are? I have a sulphide dated Feb 8 . I just saw my marble on TV.

I'm looking for nay information possible. I purchased a 2+ inch sulphide ( Modern) at a local on line auction. The auction house said this marble and many others I purchased were from the collection of Gail Funk. I did not know Gail but apparently she was a collector for years. Long story short I have had this large modern sulphide for a year or so. The other day I was watching TV, a show called Filthy Fortunes , the show is about this team of guys that cleans out houses and finds riches and sells them. The first episode of Filthy Fortunes ( betting on little balls) they find a huge collection of marbles and they hold up a marble and its the sulphide I have!  I put my TV on pause jsut to mkae sure it was the same one and it is.  What I think happened is the people ont he show said the marble collection was worth over 60k and they were going to put the marbles for sale at auction, the auction they sold the marble collection mush have been the same auction I purchased the marble ( and many many others) from. On the TV show it did not say who the owner of the marbles was , they just said it was a relative that passed away, that relitive that passed away must have been Gail Funk ( as that is the name the auction house gave as the owner of the collection). 

 

I have added a few photos of the marble and hope somebody knows who these people are and has some informaton ont he marble. I appreciat any help/information you can give me.

I was one of the lucky ones to have acquired a very nice collection of marble king cats eyes from Gail’s auctions. She had a great eye!
