I just got these and think they are called leighton types and one is a horizonal the has about 6 or 8 twists to it . ( I got dizzy)
Looks like the little purple one is a 9/16?....would be a great to be a 1/2 or under huh...Steve

Sure is an interesting board. Did they put numbers on boards? Or would this have been something the owner would have added themselves? Bun feet and holes say later style to me.
I see some Transitionals there, couple of Wirepulls and the rest look like a mix of assorted mibs one would find in a Euro grouping.
Yea, thats was what I was thinking after looking at it for a while...thanks for the replys

Naw, I don't collect cateyes.
That's what you said about Jabo's.....lol

This is a thread to announce and to welcome a new moderator.
Steve, you're #3 on the ban list. (lol, just kidding)
Dang....if Galen beat me again...well I'll deal with him in Vegas baby...
-
I thought about it all day and even though I didn't know the crap going on I didn't need to hear it like that. Deal with the issues and people one on one not infecting the entire board...imho...i hope im not the first ban...Steve

We shall see if she eliminates the word Vintage. And if she does will she continue to list Vacors and new Chinese marbles in the vintage catagory. She bought all those marbles from distributors and knows exactly what she has.
Ok now, she did confirm with me later that a troll in her basement pointed exactly where to dig. Matter of fact she said he was holding a shovel so he helped her dig. They also unearthed some rare and exotic gem stone she'll be listing at a later date under her other name tammysraregems.....im sorry i was bored...lol
-
of course we know her marbles but this one is chipped in all the right places....lol

Funny we were at the Crab Pot in Rancho Mirage last weekend for the first time and ordered some feast that they just spred out on the table and everybody pulled from the center (not like monkey brains) anyway call me old fashion but I like my food on a plate. Let go to a great spot for scalops and lobster...sorry for all the misspelings.....I'm so anxious...

Well all go out and leave those Jabos all over town for people to find (nothin agin jabo people).......lol

The Tacoma Glass Museum is just down the road a few miles from the show hotel. If you have not been there, it is a treat. Besides the museum itself and the glass work area, there is a bridge going over the highway to the Museum that has Chihuly glass items in the ceiling- amazing. Here's one pic of the bridge ceiling and two (very poor but you get the idea) of the glass making area.
PLus, it'll be a great marble show, too! Where is this Crab Pot, Galen? Sounds good!
Thanks for posting the pics Al, Seattle's nice cause you can walk or take the train anywhere...it's a date for some crab with Galen

I can't wait for the Seattle show and go to the Glass museum and watch students work. They have about 7 ovens. They tell you all about what there doing and about the different tempatures the glass is while working on it. Can't wait to see all my marble heads......Steve

now if you want contemps.... i'll have to ponder that one next!
