yeah, looks like alley to me too. terrific, So now the clear alleys with oxblood are now suspect too. (sigh) Including the one we bought from Alan about a year ago. Where's my wrist rocket???
I remember seeing one like this in Alan's auctions. You think it was one of these, or just a look alike?

Jabo Joker RAINBOW Run October 29th 2009
Silver Oxblood Stringers
These are among the rarest of the RAINBOW run Jabos, with some examples showing a deep burnt red, burnt orange, and even some with streaks of yellow which calls to mind Oxblood Egg Yolk marbles of old. I will add additional items as I have time. If you have some of these beauties consider letting us photograph them for history.

SWEETNESS!

The joker team have been talking about doing something differnt WOULD IT BE RIGHT OR WRONG your input please
I thought about this last year and spoke to a couple of folks about it. The only down side IMHO is the needs of the economy here in the states. Is there something prompting this possible option? Someone mentions Steve Sturtz buying Jabo, is that a reality???

What a Tribute Jabo 1" Marbles. May 24th & 25th, 2010. Assorted groups and selected singles provided by Windy Turpin. This Experimental run represents the passion of David McCoullough to master the creation of 1" machine made marbles.

May god bless everyone in the coming new year!

The wide band of goldstone is dramatic but I actually like the narrower bands that edge right up to a color and there is a lot of that. David
I love LUTZ regardless. Nice thin bands on the surface are okay too.

In the beginning there were the Machine Masters who roamed the universe looking for the perfect world upon which to create the perfect machine.
Earth, or as the Machine Master called it "Sphere" was perfect and had children call humans, which would appreciate the machines they would leave behind. They marvled over the abilities the hand made craftsmen showed, and the artistry of the human brain, and so they implanted the seed for the perfect marble making machine in the human consciousness.
So was the dawn of Machine Made Marble.
Rumor has is David McCoullough is still in contact with the Machine Masters!

Jabo 2010 Dave's Christmas Marbles
Produced at Jabo on 12-15-2010, Dave McCoullough does it again. Focusing on his 1" designs, Dave produced some of the most spectacular marbles in recent history, not to mention all time. He continues to experiment with LUTZ, trying to produce wide bands as a part of the molten stream. Most LUTZ has been added as the molten stream is falling and is only on the surface of the marbles. Dave continues to pursue marble craftsman excellence as these beauties demonstrate!

Your to much! I love you!

I'm very picky. That's an understatement. And I hate to accumulate stuff. Also an understatement. Chances are that I wouldn't find even one keeper in a large lot of marbles, and I don't see any in all those pictures. Not trying to start anything, just explaining the way it is.
This is the marble I bid on and didn't get. Wish it had more than two views.
You like busy patterns, this one is nice:

If it is a solid marble, maybe 10 or 12.
I bought 6 pounds and made it all into cullet.
I pulled stringers for decoration tonight too.
I want to get a look at some of those and probably get a few. Keep me posted!

I have a Dave Becker clay flame marble that looks alot like those.
Will you be listing any of those on ebay?
I have a few Dave Sent me for doing this work for him. Send me a PM!

What exactly qualifies a marble to be a ghost marble, swirl or otherwise?
First the marble has to die. Then is has to be certified to have haunted at least two major dumping sites, along with measurable poltergeist activity.
