  1. Perhaps this is a Pennington...heavier than a common marble
  2. This has that peel skin look...which i have read about as been Mexico....?
  3. The first one is out of shape with lots internal bubbles....i have seen this described somewhere but i have info overload at the moment Pics 7/8/9 looks like a German marble The last is a cats eye perhaps with a different arrangement. I have of lot of this type as well as St Marys....which i have just learnt about....a good grouping of large goons in various colours
  4. Here is a set of what i call fancy marbles...well in my eyes...i have looked at so many sites and its affecting my sleeping...dreaming of marbles, thousands of them Am sure after getting into the swing of things all will slow down.

So here are some more of what i have.....not 100% sure whether them are Vitros....another batch of various marbles...one more German loaded in a second posting. The last one with two marbles...perhaps from the same cane ?

  7. Hi Roberto Thank you so much for looking . I did find the Veilig glass on a utube channel....never knew that Dutch made marbles. The 3rd one does look like a Champion...once again looking at the sites...after your suggestion. <The others i guess you are saying chinese ? Many many tks
  8. Roberto Thank you so much for the info....i now have to search how to find an antique as to a new one....but i will get there i guess. Greatly appreciated
  9. Heres a lot from over 200 marbles..... Not sure whether they are American. I donot know how to tell the white ones with inclusions or stripes...if these are collectible and where they belong. Pics 6/7/8 are the same marble Have looked at the board members collections and i would think it is going to take some time to get my eye in.....so thank you so much for all the help and guidance...as well as your valuable time in loooking and commenting.
  10. I have gone through all the marbles in bought in a lot....looked at what has been posted here and i think these fall into some catagory. Also i went nutty in the phtograph placement....idea from a board member....
  11. Thanks for looking....as i am a total novice and have scant idea what is really good or not......must say i have learnt a lot on this board. My question is this...does it matter to a seriious collector if the large Germans have scratches....would that exclude them for their collection. When it comes to the smaller marbles i do notice sizes are given....is this an indication that they are not modern. once again many thanks
  12. Thanks for loooking. 4 & 5 are different marbles. Here are some pics of other...the smaller ones featured shows two sides of each. 3 & 4 are the same marble.....5 & & another marble Green one 1 & 2 Thanks again

  18. These came with a lot of German marbles....so i guess they are from the region. As i have read these are not special. Before i toss them i thought wait...perhaps? Some are really small : 9mm 21mm ( thats the reddish looking one ) Have no idea about the coloured ones. Thanks for looking
  19. Hi Ric I have looked through the marbles and what seems like a sparkle is minute bubbles as seen in pic. Aventurine is rather something else i guess. thanks so much for all your help.
  20. Here are some better pics....All without scratches or chips....if you see what looks like a scratch it is merely a reflection. Sizes : both 21mm The second one has a small hole...but not at the pole
  21. Thanks Ric...will try taking better pics tomorrow
