I have about 10 gallons of damaged and too common marbles that will wind up in my landscaping this spring. That way, I still get to fish through them and look at them but they won't take up space in the house.

And it's a big attraction for visiting children too. 🙂

Consider donating them to kids and libraries! Marble runs are educational for kids and they lose them so quickly. My location library had a marble machine you got to put one in every book you finished, my son loved it

  2. Here's a few more pics... Hard to get it. It looks like really, really thin Lutz. But it could just be lots of bubbles, or maybe the av? It does seem thinly sparse , but seems to follow a swirl pattern

Different pics might help, I think I'm seeing a lot of reflections

Smaller one obviously looks like guinea, what color is the base glass?  Seam looks tighter than what you'd normally see on bullet mold (and most contemporaries).  but the base glass is throwing a curve.

Is that a pontil on 2nd one? (first pic)?  pattern looks abstract enough, could be contemporary.

3rd looks like Veliliglass to me

Base is opaque, black. No pontils, both of those two are solid opaque black. Only the smaller one had the seam line

Vacor is a part of "Glasfirma"--they make the marbles.

I do not think that these that you posted are Vacor marbles.

I wish that I had some to compare with yours in this size--not.

They are nice marbles and I would not call them Cateyes.

More opinions are needed and welcomed.

Sometimes a few from the deep South America's or Europe will show up and flabergast us all:white-flag-25:.

    Marble--On!!

Yeah the closest thing I have to this style is a 5 vane mk cats eye but it's not quite the same

  5. I've seen a lot of antique paperweights and some are rounded like a marble and some are flat like this. Pictures usually are top down so I can't tell. If this is newer or an antique/vintage one. I actually don't know if they are supposed to be marbles or paperweights. They're in a book I have too
