Marvelous Marble Day | Corning Museum of Glass (cmog.org) February 18, 2024 10:00 am–2:00 pm Meet the 2023 national champions of the National Marbles Isaiah Garcia, (King) Philadelphia, and Jessica Thompson, (Queen) of Middletown Valley, Maryland, were crowned the Marvelous Marble Day is back Sunday, February 18, from 10 am–2 pm. Celebrate all things glassy and round with live glassmaking demos. Hang out with the 2023 National Marble Tournament King and Queen who will be at the Museum to teach visitors how to play! From 10 am–2 pm, help build a mega-marble run track big enough to fill a room. Join us in the Auditorium for this can't-be-missed engineering feat!
  2. I just heard a podcaster who had an issue with his water heater and when the plumber came out there was a marble in the unit. Has anyone ever heard of this? If I understand correctly, it sounds like a common thing that they would put a marble in the hot water heater. In the case below, they found it in the water line. I wonder it if came out of the heater. WTH Is A Marble Doing In My Water Line? | Forged Mettle Farm It's funny how people do things in the past that we just don't understand in the times that we live in.
