Thanks everyone. Can anyone post a pic of a similar verified alley? I cant agree or disagree. I have not found a conclusive reference yet. I've been looking at videos and pics but I can't match it positively.

Thank you Tommy.

I agree with Steph, it's a modern reproduction, and Akro did not screen print a Tom Mix marble.
I’m a newbie. So my credentials are unestablished. However, I concur. But because I’m not good yet with marble identification, I emphasized my examination upon the logo itself. It’s a poor copy. It does not match the proven originals in numerous places. Key in macro style as in a handwriting analysis. They don’t match. The only other explanation is a different picture run. But even then, it’s on the wrong marble. It sucks, but it is what it is. Close but no cigar.

And I’m having trouble with the red/ white orange pattern too. The orange leans brownish in person…

Close guess! It’s a bit over 5/8” actually .65 ish. Pics don’t do it justice. Thank you.

Agree w/ Ric on being washed out. Bifurcates were not manufactured that way intentionally as a type.
I realize they were not a specific intentional type. Considered to be a “defect “. I have to politely, and perhaps incorrectly disagree.

CAC striped opaque. Shows Jagged cut. And colors are right….Just my 2 cents.

I should have included the size in the description. Hehe. Typical newbie error I suppose..I appreciate your help with identification.

Thank you. Beginners luck. It’s about 9/16”. .67 range

Early one then. Thank you. I suspected it was not a true Corn Husk because of the UV factor.
-
Thanks to all. Can anyone give an age?
-
Thank you. A true Cornhusk appears not like a cat eye. Apparently the “husk” is very close to the surface. Not a deep ribbon.

Thank you. We bought a rechargeable black light/ flashlight. UV reactive marbles are so cool.
We will definitely be posting pics for identification. Let the fun begin!-

Thank you. It seems to be a nice starter collection. It will take some time to learn to identify and grade them. I already like it better than coin collecting.

Thank you. I’m abandoning my coin collection. Marbles are more interesting. I’m a single father. I Mainly bought the collection for my 11 yr old autistic son. He shows no interest in coins. But he is excited about marbles. So I’ll build him a collection we can gather together. I think we did okay. We paid $275.
A nice what?

I have a nice brick shooter. I didn’t think it was oxblood, but I didn’t know about possible variations. Alley Pennsboro Seems to match the one on the left that I couldn’t identify. Thank you all for focusing my search.
