Hi all! Just wondering if the Alley Tatorbugs are the only Alleys with the "fingernail clipping"? Thanks for your time & thoughts!

Found this today in a unlabeled cloth pouch that has been in a Rubbermaid tub in the attic for about 20 years, kinda looks like it's never been touched before. Also kinda looks like a knock off wanna be Coach bag (brick?) or something. 21/32, a muted tomato iron red, black, & I don't know...cloud? Thanks!

Sorry! I really am not trying to sell here, another reason I was hesitant to share my link. Reading y'all talk about mibs throws me back to grandpa talking about mibs & I don't want to ruin that! I'm not calling anyone old, it appears mib talk transcends time!

OK, here it is. https://www.ebay.com/usr/rbwallin I encourage feedback & REALLY don't want to scam anyone. Domestic Associate's parents have been antique dealers for 50 years & he & I for about 10 years now & success relies on reputations, & their's is excellent. If we're wrong & someone tells us, we do everything we can to communicate & rectify so everyone walks away happy. We will tell potential buyers if we discover were wrong & offer "outs". Can't always correct the listing but we will correct it behind the scenes with the buyer. I really truly do not understand why some have gone for the prices they have.

Yes, that's part of my hesitation, I've got a touch of imposter syndrome over it. I normally don't do this well, it's like someone's watching over trying to help because my motives are sincere. About a year ago my dad (84) showed up at my door with a check for $5,000. I didn't ask for it but he knew I needed it & wouldn't take no for an answer. Within 6 months of that I heard him say he has no savings left & is living off his SS check. Dad's old school, will not ask for help from anyone, mom & dad both still alive & together, she's fine when it comes to money but doesn't share with him. So I decided right then I need to do this because the man that's always helped me needs help & I need to help him for once. So thank you for your advice on this, it's very much appreciated. Here are the mibs. Like I said, I know what they are, just didn't know how to sell a big group like this.

It's all the same marble though, nothing really to identify.
-
Oh & one of my ebay marbles was recently shared as another's brother.
-
Is the question. I realize All Marbles Matter, I really do but.....I have to believe we all have marbles we really just don't care all that much for, I do. But, one man's trash, anothers yadda yadda. If you wound up with 200 of ONE (variations of course) marble you just don't really care for & don't believe it to be anything overly special (could be wrong, but I mean I have 200) do you break it up into lots of 50 or all at once?

.......the more my motives change. Not sure if this is the right board to put this but......I started this adventure (or misadventure) with the horrific goal of selling all & just trying to forget everything they represent to me in order to pay off a debt I am desperate to handle. Now, however, I feel as though maybe I don't have to sell everything to meet my obligation, maybe I can keep some & carry on collecting after. Which makes me a little bit relieved as I find myself, on the daily, setting mibs aside saying to myself "no, I'm not selling THAT one, I can't," & that pile getting bigger & bigger. The reason I'm saying any of this at all is this, I have a question to ask all y'all. I never planned on sharing my ebay link on here (it's actually the domestic associates ebay) as I'm not looking to promote it here. Again, I'm somewhat embarrassed I need to do this, I don't always get it right (haven't done mibs in 20 years) & don't want to make it on the "people of Walmart" version of these here mib boards. I have also made more than I should have, in my opinion. Now, with that being said, there is a question I want to ask, but asking said question would inevitably out me on ebay soooooo...... Do I ask the question & let ya all sleuth it out, ask the question & share a link, or go back to my hidey hole & forget I mentioned it? Thanks, Pieces 🙂

I believe there was a seam similar. As soon as I can get my hand to my face again I will loupe it up.

No Way! Seriously?! Leave it to my Grandpa Guy, bet ya he's smilin'! Nah, no he wouldn't, he was cranky, he'd be sneeckering (sneer/snicker) 🤣
-
Super helpful!🙃

Tried some more shots. Assume by feathering you are referring to the 70s hairstyle looking swoopies on & in it? Sorry, pain meds & intelligent words don't often happen together.
-
Oh & 21/32 uv react
-
-
No. But I did put it into direct morning sunlight streaming in my window.
-
OK, Domestic Associate says it's a black stripe, not negative space.
-
This time it is a little dude! Measuring in at about 15/32. Blue & yellow. I'm not 100% sure if the black stripe is black or negative space. Had surgery on my arm 2 days ago so I can't loupe it up yet (can't get my arm to my head yet, lol) to verify. Will confirm that part when I have someone with working arms or as soon as I can. Thanks!

Any thoughts? It's about 7/8, with blue, yellow, green, possibly a very thin pinkish hue, & possibly a thin lavender hue as well. And maybe white. At first I thought it was whackadoodle a cats eye but it has ribbons on top of the glass.....
-
Sorry, just now saw this! Yes it is a banded purple lutz. My grandpa sucked me in with that exact marble as a child! Well, that one & one other were always moved to the front of the case when he knew I was coming over because he saw me ogling over them before.

19/32, 9/16. Sorry, there's a lot around here I call "little fella"
-
-
For example, to me the green one looks similar to dragons but it has bluish strips in just 1/2 of 1/2....if that makes sense.

Are they named?
