  1. Well, I cut my arm really bad today at work and had to go get stitched up, all will be well. Gives me more time to share some marbles I like..lol.

Here are some of my favorite corkscrew for your viewing pleasure!! The black and white corkscrew has the richest, deepest black, thought it was neat. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for looking.20250605_163227.thumb.jpg.ab2ebe9320a5810ba6d7bace05cb35f0.jpg20250605_163219.thumb.jpg.d0312d226ac770854faf6f3c552b45e4.jpg20250605_163203.thumb.jpg.b4a9fcfc6cab66d7db16b9b07b599923.jpg20250605_163008.thumb.jpg.3011063a1b617d687b774469ed95085c.jpg20250605_162957.thumb.jpg.ba26833602f5122329f41e8f9be1d4ad.jpg20250605_162944.thumb.jpg.491055c8f053b8ed8ed611cbb8e686e7.jpg20250605_162725.thumb.jpg.f10d373e7148363744589dd645ce8c12.jpg20250605_162716.thumb.jpg.9759ceb3b1ef9eb66abae194e4a2d1a9.jpg20250605_162704.thumb.jpg.4641968e198dfa973eddd5797523d325.jpg20250605_162651.thumb.jpg.3d976e6d0fe7b8e99fee10481f0f7a90.jpg

  2. I was out at my local thrift village as usual today and found this Ravenswood buddy marbles set in original packaging. The netting is very fragile and has a hole at bottom and on side as well. It looks as if someone already tried to repair it at the bottom.

It may be too far gone to fix, if not any ideas?? I got it for 40 dollars, I usually don't collect original box or packaging marbles, but I have found 3 other Ravenswood bags from the same seller and just couldn't pass it up.

Any cool display ideas or fix it ideas would be appreciated, thanks for your help as always! I added a group shot of my complete sealed collection just to share!

I do not want to step in here--great discussion--keep it clean though.
Naming individuals that you may not agree with has no point in this conversation.
I know what the OG in this post is—a great marble—probably pre WW2.

The “very early” Akros were slags.
    Nuff said.
    Marble—On!!

My apologies if I stepped out of bounds.

  4. I agree with Alan, it sounds like you already have your mind made up on what "age" this marble is. All the expertise and knowledge on here is blowing right past you.

If you only want to believe Bob Block or Google, not anyone else, then you gain nothing by posting on here, IMHO.

I also see you posted the same thread on AAM

  5. Are all 3 of these Vitro yellow jackets, the 2 on right the colors are not as vibrant colors as than the one on left, its throwing me off a bit, sizes from left to right, .62, .60, .62. Sorry if photos are blurry, not in normal spot I usually take pics at.

Any help is appreciated as always!!20250528_170733.thumb.jpg.f7c834295b4b4d6be8af01ca1291f975.jpg20250528_170718.thumb.jpg.55a5fe3ef35cbc2fee344cc36563f9b8.jpg20250528_170708.thumb.jpg.6c0dcc0d1cb7c1acef97f598c3dbc873.jpg20250528_170648.thumb.jpg.5179e380797e290f7079aab4ec2aa878.jpg20250528_170630.thumb.jpg.7883502a89bf65a7884306e8a3878515.jpg20250528_170614.thumb.jpg.9d9673bb4263c2ce32bcd6397e9ee271.jpg
