This mib hangs out with a blended Marble King, same colors, and straight wide seams. I thought these were more Master-y. If I get a solid ID, I won't have to take it with me to the marble show. Thanks!

Oh, and just a titch shy of 5/8"

I'm slowly getting my pile sorted out, but I've got lots of wvs's and weirdos left. This one stood out because of the light purple tint in the base glass. Sorrry I can't figure out any seams

If that's a pontil, Id guess it's transitional. I have a similar one that appears in an eBay lot. Wider ribbon, but similar. The verdict so far is Japanese. I'll take it with me to the Maine show.

I have a pile of dug Jacksons. Similar pattern to the swirl, similar base glass, only one glows in the UV. That is only a bone, sorry. I'll scour my wvs pile and see if I can compare.

My limited research suggests Akro or Vitro. I keep finding similar marbles in my pile. I think THIS pair is actually twins. 5/8, swirly opalescent base.

I won't take this guy to Maine with me, then. Only the deep mysteries. Thanks!

Muted colors (gray-green): ✔️ Fine pole-pole vanes: ✔️ TV screen window ( shown with and without flash): ✔️ Hot UV reactive: ✔️ 11/16": ✔️ Haven't heard anything about UV reactive glass being used in Master Marbles, but there's a lot of what I don't know. This has been my favorite mib since last night when it stood out from the rest of the pile. Thanks for telling me its story.

It really is a nice piece. I have to wait until summer before I can put it, along with all my marbles, in the marble run set-up that the nieces and nephews build every time we get together...

Frosty finish makes me think Vacor/Mega marbles, but the swirls look a little more sophisticated. Good mystery, I'm following for more!

A lovely marble. 23/32". I'm not attached to a maker identity. It was advertised as Christensen. But I have seen/heard that they didn't make red slags. I knew this when I bought the mib. That concern aside, I love this specimen. I can't pick one from another, but it's one of my favorites. Just curious what we know, and what is merely legend. Thanks for looking!

This 'un is 19/32". Base glass is clear. Gray-ish swirl with a little lavender in it. Strong UV reaction. Thanks for looking!

I found a couple in my pile that stood out as I prepare for a marble con. This little guy is 11/16". no UV reaction. Green base with white and light purple/pink swirl. Thanks!
