  1. Thanks for the help guys. I'm going to assume the three 4-vanes are most likely MK, and the two red 5-vanes are Vitro. I am still unsure about the fat banana and the blue & white 5-vane.
  2. I believe what I have here are at least a few American cat's eyes, with maybe a couple outliers. The white, blue and green on the bottom row of the first image are all 4 vanes. The red one has 5 vanes and is tipped with a blue-gray color. (Vitro?) The larger white one in the back is strange, with I believe 5 wispy vanes. 2 Blue vanes bordered by 2 white ones, and an opposing white vane on the other side. The red and white caged(?) one in the top middle has 5 vanes, 4 opposed by 1. (Vitro?) And finally, the fat green banana with the bubble in it. I suspect Vitro again for this one. Lots of trapped bubbles, and very sparkly. (Aventurine..?) The green 4 vane is also sparkly, but less so. They are all in the 15-16mm range, with the larger white one reaching 17mm at certain angles. I'm not expecting to successfully ID all of these, but I'm grateful for any input.
  3. first marble resembles a Vacor octopus, but the ribbons aren't white, and the base color may be a bit off. other idk. both 15-16mm, all help is appreciated.

    3 jabos?

    Thank you all for confirming!

    3 pelts?

    Awesome. Thanks for the confirmation!

    3 jabos?

Pairing up these 3 because I suspect them all to be Jabo, just looking for confirmation so I know when I spot one. From left to right, top to bottom, Marble A, Marble B and Marble C. All three are pretty much 15mm, with Marble B being a hair under, perhaps closer to 14mm. All help appreciated!

    3 pelts?

Peltier is my best guess for these 3, going by the pattern. Marble B is 14mm, others are 15mm. All help appreciated! I've been learning a lot so far. Marble A Marble B Marble C
  8. I see, thank you for the clarification and answer!
  9. very interesting.. never seen a Vitro like that before. after a quick search I think you're right about the Master Glass, it seems to be a brushed patch. that's my first Master. I do see many similarities between my Rainbo and others online, but the pattern seems quite different being so skewed to one side. is the pattern not normally meant to be more centered, or are deviations common in Rainbos? as always, thanks for the help!
  10. these three beauties are unique amongst my humble collection, and I am proud to own them regardless of their rarity. all help is appreciated, as I have no idea what these are and still have a lot to learn about identifying brands. A : 16mm B : 16mm C : 15mm MARBLE A MARBLE B MARBLE C

    Jabo?

    pattern tells me Jabo.. 15mm
  12. Wow, wasn't expecting Jabo. I think I'm falling in love with their marbles.. it's one of my favorites I've found thanks guys!
  13. this one seems like it should be easy to identify, but I haven't yet come upon any that resemble it while searching online. roughly 18mm as stated in the title. when backlit, no light passes through the green half at all. the blue half may light up very slightly, however the small white bit at the blue pole does glow. all help appreciated!
  14. that settles it then I guess, thanks for your inputs!
  15. Ohhh, I see. still learning lol. backlit, all of the blue is opaque, however the dark orange bits retreat into the interior. as a result, I can shine the light through one orange section and have it glow on the other side of the marble. so it has a translucent interior. I would take photos, but I don't have two phones handy at the moment. the darker the orange, the more it glows when backlit.
  16. dull/discolored alley bacon? only just learned about those after posting
  17. curious about this one I have, it seems like it could be older than my other marbles. surface feels more organic, not as polished. I think both seams are in the first picture, however it almost looks as though there is a straight seam in the sixth photo, which connects to one of the smaller ones. I could be wrong. The marble is about 16mm. thoughts?
  18. Love these two. Hard to identify seams, especially on the second one. First one resembles a marble listed as a Jabo on one of the identification sites. First 15mm, second 16mm roughly.
  19. Thanks for the ideas, so far the only marbles I can find online that are similar to the dark one are All Reds. The pattern does match a few Type III/IV Tiger Eyes, but I see no sign of one with the same color scheme. Sticking with All Red for now unless proven otherwise.
  20. almost certain the green one is a vitro all red, just throwing it in to verify and compare. the other however i am unsure. it looks like a brown vitro all red but has more of an eye pattern, rather than an even distribution of brown and red. it is also entirely opaque, which the vitro is not.
  21. Interesting, I had heard of the Benningtons but hadn't looked into them. Yeah I had thought the green one resembled a few examples of Peltiers I saw online, but wasn't sure. I may attempt to get some better angles on it. Thanks!
  22. Only just dabbling in the world of marbles, and thought I'd try to ID a couple that I have on hand. Unfortunately I don't have any accurate way of measuring, hence the cat's eyes for reference! one standard size, and one shooter. The blue marble doesn't appear to be glass, but rather stone of some kind. It is smooth, but definitely not as smooth as my glass marbles, nor as rounded. It is entirely opaque. Grey spot in the third image is a rough patch of damage. In the fourth image, he appears a bit shocked. 😱 Green marble has a translucent base and a large mostly-opaque yellow patch. As seen in the third image of it, the inside has many bubbles. It also has quite a lot of faint bands/streaks inside, though I don't think those are as visible in these pictures. I believe it to be at least somewhat old, as it has notable wear. Also, despite it appearing green and glowing green when backlit, the base takes on an almost bluish color when shone on with a light from above. All help is appreciated, it can be tough trying to track down marbles on various identification sites, so I figured I'd try here.
