Thus is definitely orange with a stripe of red in the matrix. The backlight just makes it look more awesome!

Half of this looks like a Striped Transparent, but the other half is bare, and it looks like a slag in the matrix. Help!

I'll chime in. I'm still very new to marbles. This was the exact type of jar I bought at the beginning. Now, there may not be a lot of expensive marbles in there, it got me started as to how to sort and identify the more common marbles After you've done this a few times, you start to be able to scan a bottle and see if there are a few great marbles. I agree, 55.00 is way too much for this one. I'd buy this one for 30.00 no problem, and then probably buy 2 more similar jars on my way out...lol Best of luck

I have a bunch of these. I do believe they are Akro Slags. Yours is a nice example!

The tiny guy is just a peewee Cats eye. The second group are caged cats eyes Not sure on the 3rd, could be Jabo, but looks Vacor or Foreign

The cut line does look Vitro to me
