I have tried under different lights to get the colour of this. It's either very very dark purple, or black. Is it a Cork?

Thank you so much for this information. I really appreciate your time to explain all this. I'm still an extreme newbie to marbles. I think I falsely have assumed that when somebody says a marble is "foreign" or and "import" that it's a snub against the hobby. I now understand that is nowhere near the case and have to be more aware if these really incredible marbles. All the best!
