Picked up this box at a German flea market for $14, for my 3 yr old to play with - then wondered to myself, is marble collecting a ‘thing’ - found this great forum and answered own question 😆 Sharing here just for those interested in what’s about in Europe - and to ask is there anything here I should keep for her school fund, rather than let her lose them / break them / trade them? there’s certainly a few that are nothing like I remember playing with as a kid in the 1970’s. is the regular sized brown/orange glass (pics 5-6) with the dimples either side a handmade one? and the orangish one (pics 9-10) with holes in it like a piece of cheese - is that unusual to have got past ‘quality control’? 😆
