I LOVE MARBLES
Yes Delotronic, that is an old Akro Agate corkscrew. Though somewhat uncommon colors, with a small chip in the last pic, maybe worth $20. IMHO.

marblemansion
Here's a few I pulled out of my Vacor box. If you look at the white ribbons the base blends them pink. Maybe Alan are CAC I'm just giving you my thoughts is all. I suggest you take it up with the seller directly - he states in the listing it came out of box of 100 - so ask for a pic of the box....seems easy enough. This very thing is exactly why I have refused to purchase any more marbles that are not definitely identifiable. Vacor and Jabo are WAY too tricksome. I have seen thousands of them and many many many pass for antiques - especially the lesser known like CA even Navarre - lots and lots of Ravenswood, Cairo, etc. Its just too damn risky to spend 45 to 50 bucks a marble and end with 2 penny Vacors. marblemansion
This is not an old one is it? ... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MARBLES-MINT-VINTAGE-AKRO-AGATE-TIGHTLINE-CORKSCREW-/350364564982?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Marbles&hash=item51935afdf6#ht_746wt_1 Personally speaking, that marble is WAY overpriced! and I bought a novelty "logo" marbles from this seller and the "logo" was nothing more that a lick on sticker on a 1" white marble...crap! It wasn't worth returning. There are more fakes in the marble market than goo on a gummy bear.
