  1. This little one looked different, but nothing special until I hit it with the black light. The amber threads that you can see stretched across the marble below a field of clear, fluoresce, they turn a bright greenish/yellow. It was hard to get them with the camera, but it was so cool I had to share. :)

  2. Does this person have other ebay id's? Has anyone dealt with them in the past? The user id looks familiar but I haven't bought marbles is so long, I just don't remember. With all those attempts at contact, I'd have to say something is certainly not right. Especially when no one knows who this is, yet you know where the marbles are that were used in the photo's. Good thing you used paypal Okie, hope it all turns out ok.

  3. Ok, so has anyone actually talked to, or messaged back and forth with this seller? Just asking, I hate to burn someone at the stake on speculation. Not that I could ever afford to spend so much on marbles, I don't want to see anyone get burned either. Probably best if these auctions were avoided and ebay alerted, and looks like you are all on top of it. :) lol Curious to see what comes of this, if you purchased marbles be sure to update us. You too Steph ;)

  4. Awesome, and that's what I was thinking, maybe I'll have to get a ballot box now. lol They came with some benningtons, mostly white, some with brown, blue spots where they touched other mibs, or something when they were glazed. They are all small like the glass ones, did they ever use white benningtons for ballot mibs too?? I have never seen pic's of bennies like these, maybe they are not? But they sure have the tell tale signs. Any thoughts?

  5. Been looking at those black ones, with the crease and the line. I am thinking that if they were created together, same way, then maybe the line on one is just tool marks, and perhaps the glass was a bit hotter when the one with the crease was made, does that make sense? lol I've been so busy I haven't dug up any information on ballot marbles yet, but I will for sure. :) Thanks Steph!! :)
