I enjoy going to the Cairo event!

Its usually the week before the WVMCC show.

They have outgrown the building its held in and are in need of an expansion but its VERY limited to where? If you've ever been to Cairo you know what I mean!

Check out the old Bank while your there it kind of neat I believe it some sort of rails to trails related place now.

And thanks to a few bad apples be sure to stay off the old marble plants property!

Someone does own it now. He's an attorney I believe and digging is no longer allowed. The neighbors living near the old site keep a close watch on it too. They are not hesitant to call the police.

Agree with Duffy Hot as heck Friday and it wasnt slow but it is a work day for most floks so it wasnt packed but still had a steady crowd all day.

Sat was sweet!!! Weather was perfect and the crowd was good all day!!

Seemed like there were plenty of buyers and due to it being a "festival" and not just a straight out "marble show" I saw a more diverse crowd than usual.

I've been wondering why doubles aren't more popular.

Even nice ones frequently sell for cheap.

Maybe they look 'damaged' to some people, but to me

it's all about 'character lines'.

You know beauty and the Eye of The Beholder.

I like old handmades and a polished one doesnt scare me as I think it helps bring out the old beauty in the old girls.
